Honestly, not sure how I've never reviewed Seafood Town. I've been coming here with my family since I was a little kid and it never disappoints. It's important to know four things before coming to Seafood Town: 1) the food is delicious with huge portions, 2) the lunch special is an INCREDIBLE deal, 3) service is very quick, and 4) the restaurant interior has gotten a bit worse for wear over the years (do not expect a fancy restaurant). That being said, I always come for the lunch special which includes a hot and sour soup, entree, and dessert. This place makes the absolute BEST kung pao chicken; this is a must-get dish. I also love their spicy eggplant, garlic chicken, and beef chow fun dry style. Their beef and broccoli is not my favorite dish, but it's a good comfort option. The hot and sour soup is always steaming and a bit peppery. Love to sip the complimentary tea while eating, and the dessert is a great way to end a delicious meal! I come back to Seafood Town whenever I'm in Torrance and I can't wait to be back soon!

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Torrance price is good and every food taste great

Upgraded to 5 stars for the unbeatable value of lunch special (3 items for $38 total). This is now my go-to place for Chinese food in the South Bay after the closing of Seafood Port and Lee's Kitchen.

This place been here forever! It's an old place but the food is good! The service is not bad. When my son and I crave Chinese food we come here.

I've been coming here since I was a small child and I am 35 now. My mom knows the staff and they always ask about her. Some of the staff even speaks Khmer so Mom feels like she's at home. It is your typical hole-in-the-wall but the food is awesome. You get generous family style portions. Some tables even have a lazy-Susan for those large parties. Their lunch special is the best but lunchtime can get super busy. My husband's favorite thing to order is the salt & pepper shrimp w/o the shell. My mom orders a whole crispy duck EVERY time we go. Dad and I enjoy our many vegetarian options. I usually order the "Veggie Delight". Best of all the prices are affordable and they aren't stingy on the rice. Definitely a local gem.

Many visits here, both take out and dining in with family, have been quite enjoyable. Some of our favorite dishes are: Veggie Delight Spicy Garlic Eggplant Hot & Sour Soup Green Beans with Fresh Garlic Sizzling Shrimp & Scallops Salt & Pepper Pork Chops Lunch Specials 11 - 3, include Hot Tea, Steamed or Fried Rice, cup of Soup, and a warm Tapioca Pudding dessert. Dinner portions are very generous.... plenty for sharing or bringing home a good amount for enjoying at another meal.

This is a local staple Cantonese style Chinese restaurant that's been around forever. In recent years, we typically order to go. Our all-time family favorites are the French steak and the house salt and pepper pork chops. Both are excellent and must haves! French steak is amazing, less well-known and highly recommended for anyone who likes beef. It's juicy, tender, and flavorful. Pork chops are locally famous, almost everyone knows and orders them. This time, we also ordered house special shrimps and Kung Pao Fresh Squid. They are both fine, I like the shrimps better. It's good that Squid was fresh but the Kong pao was a bit wet and not spicy. As shown in the pictures, the ambiance is fine, very traditional style Chinese restaurant, we'd prefer if they update a little over the last 30 years.

We went yesterday before the Super Bowl, my son reminded us that it's the first day of the Chinese New Year.. Made it a bit more special for us.. We went in the attempt to find a replacement for Seafood Port that had just recently closed..It had also been our go to for Chinese.. We got there at 1:00, the restaurant was packed yet no one waited to be seated, some 10 minutes later, still waiting but no with another 4 or 5 parties.. The folks working there were typical of what my experience has been, you feel a bit ignored, no one attempts to tell you anything, they're all just steadily moving about like worker bees..Assi mentioned, this has been my experience at many Chinese restaurants, Seafood Port was also like this..Just the way it is.. Once seated, our menus came a minute later, and the service from that point on was good..Now our mission other then for lunch, was to find a replacement for our now closed favorite, didn't know if this would be the place or not, yet this I can tell you, it was very good, we all enjoyed our samplings of 5 items, and of course plenty to take home.. I do have a few others we'll try, but this one just may be it.. All n all a 4 out of 5 Star
